Hi friends, I haven’t written in a while because I’ve been busy enjoying mom life! I recently quit my job to be a full time stay-at-home-mom and am so thankful I have the opportunity to be with my daughter all day. Being a mom is a tough job, but the best one ever!

But you all know me, I always need some kind of side project. So I decided to open an Etsy shop: Short & Sweet Celebrations. I’m officially launching it today, and I’d love for you to check it out!

I opened this shop because I think it’s important to celebrate life’s big and small moments, especially now that I have a child and time is flying by. I’m already thinking about my daughter’s birthday a few months away, and the traditions I want to start with my kids on their holidays and birthdays. I loved the idea of having a birthday book that would capture both memories of the year and of the birthday party. I scoured the internet but didn’t find anything that was as comprehensive as I wanted, so I decided to create my own Complete Birthday Book!

It comes in four themes: pink, blue, neutral, and party. It runs from ages 1-18 and has 10 pages per year with some bonus pages. It’s a great gift for a new mom (I know I would have loved receiving something like this at one of my showers!), and would be a fun keepsake for a child to take to college or as they enter adulthood.
