Hey friends! For this month’s friday favorites, I wanted to give you a peek into the Summer 2019 FabFitFun box! My parents gifted me a box for my birthday and I got some really fun stuff in it. I am shocked that the box is only $50, because I got so many full-sized products!
Coola Makeup Setting Spray – $36
This spray is not only for setting your makeup, it also has 30 SPF to protect your face from the sun, which is so important in the summer! I spray this on in the morning, and while I don’t love the smell, it doesn’t seem to linger after I spray it on. It does seem to help my makeup stay on better throughout the day.
Odeme Silicone Wine Glasses – $25
These millennial rose-colored wine glasses were one of my customizable product options and were too cute to pass up. They are dishwasher and microwave friendly (though I have no idea why you’d want to microwave them?) and super portable. I look forward to tossing them in a bag and bringing them to a picnic or lake this summer.
Whish Exfoliating Foot Mask – $32
Ok even if this foot mask didn’t do anything, it’s great because it smells AMAZING. The word exfoliating threw me off a bit because I expected some beads in it or something, but it was surprisingly smooth. I put a little bit on my heels before bedtime and put socks on to keep it on, then wash it off in the morning. My feet did feel a little softer, and I’m sure with consistent use it would help with those callused summer feet.
Sutra Mini Travel Blow Dryer – $60
Of all the products I received, this one was the most impressive! I’m glad I chose it as one of my customizations. I loved the marble look and figured it would be perfect for trips back home so that I wouldn’t have to borrow one. I expected it to increase my blow dry time, but it was surprisingly effective and took the same if not less time than my normal blow dryer! It also comes with diffuser and concentration nozzles. I noticed these are on sale for cheaper on Poshmark if you’re interested in one.
Dr. Brandt Pore Purifying Cleanser – $36
I’ll be honest, I probably won’t use this one too much because salicylic acid and I do not get along. But I did give it a try, and I can say that the tea tree oil and white willow bark make it smell really good! My husband tried it also and seemed to think it worked well.
Invisibobble Hair Rings – $16
These hair rings have been all the rage for the past two years it seems like! I already had some of these so will probably give them away, but my friend really enjoyed them for her hair.
Grace & Stella Rose Spray – $26
This rose spray has great reviews online! I had heard about rose spray before but didn’t really know what it is. According to their website, “Grace & Stella’s Rose Facial Spray helps keep skin fresh and moisturized. It is also great to use as a makeup setting spray or as a skin refresher throughout the day.” I haven’t noticed a difference yet as I’ve only used it a few times, but I can say it smells wonderful!
Generation Clay Tightening Purple Clay Mask – $29
This was one of my mystery items (I didn’t choose it, but this doesn’t come in everyone’s box) and I’m so glad I got it! I love face masks, and was intrigued at the purple clay in this one. It has Davidson plum to brighten and rejuvenate, bentonite clay to clean and purge skin, and aloe vera to soothe and reduce redness. I loved it!
Summer & Rose Navy Diamond Tote – $50
This was another customizable item, and I am really glad I picked it! This tote is not only super cute, but it’s lightweight and roomy – perfect for the beach. It has a little pocket inside and an internal snap to keep it closed. I even was able to fit my laptop and planner into it, although I probably wouldn’t put them in it regularly since the bag is on the thinner side. It’s perfect for summer – I’ll probably throw my rose spray, coola spray and wine glasses in it for my next day trip!
I hope you enjoyed a peek into the FabFitFun summer box! I really liked almost everything I got, and I think they will all be perfect for this summer. For $50, I got $310 worth of products, which is a STEAL. If you’re looking for a gift for a girl friend, I would definitely gift her a FFF box! Thanks mom and dad for sending me one 🙂
