1. Stranger Things Season 3

I was BEYOND excited for season 3 to come out. It felt like an eternity since season 2 was released. If you haven’t watched it yet, please for the love of all things do so immediately. I really enjoyed this season, although it was definitely different from the first two! The Duffer Brothers brilliantly started with several different story lines and groups that slowly all tie in together for an epic final episode. This season left me with a LOT to process so I’ve been Youtubing and podcasting ever since I finished. If you love Stranger Things like me, I recommend this Stranger Things podcast, this in-depth Stranger Things interview, and Netflix’s own Behind the Scenes podcast. If you’ve watched the season, let’s talk!

2. Quartz Pendant

Recently Matt went home to Oregon to visit family, and he knew that I was bummed I couldn’t go so he brought me back a little souvenir necklace – so sweet of him! I’ve worn this quartz pendant SO many times already this summer because it goes with everything, and it’s super affordable.

3. Center Point Road Album

I have a minor major obsession with Thomas Rhett, and his new album Center Point Road just solidified it. Every single song is AMAZING and perfect for summer road trips. He is such a talented artist and I love that he has such positive songs and writes so much about his wife and family. Some of my faves from this album are: “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time,” “Sand,” and “Things You Do for Love.” Definitely check it out!

4. J. Crew Tie Waist Pocket Tee

On our trip to Outer Banks last month, we found a little outlet mall that had so many great stores in it! My first stop was into J. Crew, and I found the perfect white tee. I had been looking for one for a few months – something casual, light, and just a little more stylish than a basic tee. I love the accents on this tee – the rolled sleeves, pocket, and front-tie make it so cute and versatile!

5. The Dropout Podcast

If you haven’t heard of Theranos or Elizabeth Holmes, let me give you a quick summary: A Stanford dropout creates a company called Theranos that claims to make devices that test for hundreds of diseases from a single drop of blood, eventually defrauding investors millions of dollars all while claiming she’s innocent. The story is FASCINATING, especially if you’re into true crime. There’s a book, documentary, and soon to be movie about Holmes as well. The Dropout podcast is a great place to start because it has a lot of interviews from people from her childhood and former employees of the company.
